So much can happen on a train. Meeting strangers, finding friends, falling in love. A train isn't just a mode of transportation but a shared space between people filled with individual stories. This is one of those stories between a girl, a stranger and the New York Subway.
This story is mostly inspired by my recent trip to New York. While on the subway with my friend, I met two other university students visiting the city and we spent most of the day together. We went to the Natural History Museum and walked through Central Park and even got food together. It was an unexpected friendship and a wonderful day, definitely one of the highlights from my New York adventure.

Crosshair has been living safely on Pabu since the Tantiss attack and he should be happy to be free, but there is still something missing, something he can't seem to grasp. When Echo manages to convince Crosshair to join him on his trip to a repurposed Republic medical frigate, Crosshair is forced to rethink his future and what he wants from it. Maybe it's time that he gives himself a second chance to be something more than a good soldier. Maybe, there is still hope for a future.
Two of my favourite characters from the clone wars era are Echo and Crosshair, and after finishing watching The Bad Batch, I wanted to explore what an interaction between them would look like.

The man has lived a very long time, experienced many lives. But no one wants to die, especially not him.
I wrote this for one of the rounds in the NYC Midnight 500 word fiction challenge in 2023. They send you a short prompt and you're given 48 hours to complete your story in 500 words or less. I had a lot of fun with this and it definitely encouraged me to explore a genre I wasn't familiar while keeping my writing concise. My prompt was: Horror, Breathing Second Hand Smoke, A Jar.

In 1828 Edinburgh, Mr Hare was in great need of funds. Luckily, his acquaintance, Mr Burke, had a perfect scheme in mind that wouldn't only serve them but Dr Knox at Surgeons’ Square as well.
This was also for a round of the NYC Midnight 500 Word Fiction Challenge. This time my prompt was: Historical Fiction, Forging a Document, A Skeleton.

This was written as a sample of screenplay formatting and includes an opening scene for the pilot episode of a mockumentary series about a school for vampires and werewolves. The idea is that a film crew has decided to film students’ experiences to end the stigmas around them and their lives. The series would play into many stereotypes surrounding vampire media while also having its own unique storyline centring around Lark that gets viewers invested.
